National Sales Consultant - Heavy Civils/Infrastructure - Formwork

Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities:

To represent the Company in a professional manner whilst developing our interest in the Infrastructure market in relation to our Formwork & Shoring products.
To establish new Formwork & Shoring business opportunities within the Infrastructure Civils market in Australia.
Create a marketing strategy to engage with this market sector.
Create a monthly summary of pipeline opportunities.
Evaluate and respond to any supply enquiries via our Brisbane office.
Assist management in the creation of any business plans that may be forthcoming from your reporting.
Engage with other departments bringing on board a cross sell function.
Ability to deliver strategic plans in line with growth strategy
Develop and maintain clear strategic working relationships and understanding of builders, formworkers and clients (needs).
Need to develop customer awareness of products/solutions to both internal and external customers. Promoting the value of the product.
Understanding / development of Project Management and identifying key decision makers in the process.
Create and deliver a business plan to grow the business in the civils sector in conjunction with senior management.
Reporting to GM.

Requirements:


Must have worked in the building and/or civil engineering industry preferably in a Formwork related role. 
Must be adverse and experienced in business development and creating new opportunities/clients.
Knowledge of formwork industry and its role in the construction of insitu concrete structures (heavy civils/infrastructure).
Technical consulting and commercial understanding of technical drawings, design submissions and can interpret technical CAD drawings to design partners for an application suggestion.
Creative thinker able to bring new ideas both technically and for marketing purposes and for the company to deliver and maintain market share.
