Our client offers an exciting opportunity as Head of Key Accounts/Large Scale Projects & Civil who will be responsible for the management and development of the revenue and profitability in the KA/LSP & Civil business. In this role, the Head of KA/LSP & Civil will be responsible for generating a pipeline of business and the leadership of a team of individuals in sales and project management ensuring that all targets are met, and all market potentials are exploited. The Head of Key Accounts/Large Scale Projects & Civil is part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Managing Director.

Requirements:

5+ years’ Sales/Engineering experience in the industry, ideally in system formwork. 
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Large Scale Projects Management experience.
Strong sales management skills especially in negotiation and closing.
Good financial understanding/business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies, …)
Project & Key Account Management as well as job site experience.
Professional manager who is structured, disciplined and shows a high level of integrity.
Experienced team leader who acts as a role model.
Outstanding communication skills both verbally and in writing.
High level of motivation and drive.
Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and find solutions. 
Skilled user of Microsoft Office and standard IT Programs.
Current Driver’s License.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the KA/LSP & Civil Team including planning, training and optimization.
Develop and implement the KA/LSP & Civil strategy in collaboration with management.
Develop and manage all nominated Key Account and Large-Scale Projects and ensure all deadlines are met.
Ensure that all client issues are directed to the appropriate business area.
Ensure that the KA/LSP & Civil and Dealer forecasts are accurate and achieved.
Provide recommendations to the MD on product requirements, marketing and pricing structures.
Sign off all KA/LSP & Civil proposals and gain MD approval on discounts above authorized levels.
Carry out monthly and quarterly reviews with direct reports and derive appropriate measures.
Communicate client updates, competitor activity and market trends locally and regionally.
Ensure that all enquiries received by the team and themselves are actioned immediately and that the highest level of customer service is provided in a professional manner.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with engineering, finance and operations and ensure smooth and close collaboration between the departments.
Ensure efficient and compliant projects and contract management.
Act as a role model both internally and externally, displaying a high standard of professionalism and expertise.
