University degree in Finance/Controlling or related field.
Minimum of 10 years related experience.
MS Office skills as well as advanced Excel and SAP (FI/CO).
Ideally Certified Chartered Accountant.
Attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities:
The Head of Finance and Controlling is accountable for all aspects of finance & controlling including business planning and financial accounting of the business in India & SAARC countries. The incumbent in this role shall actively participate in the Country Leadership team.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited:
As Finance Business Partner, the incumbent will be part of the Leadership Team, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Operations Department in supporting company's financial operations through strategic business partnership and act as professional business partner in particular to the Managing Director.
To coordinate continuous improvement and further develop internal standards within the area of responsibility.
As part of the Leadership Team and Business Partner to the peers the incumbent is creating transparency, questioning the status quo and foster the development of new ideas and processes.
To assist with Sales & Operations in reconciling the receivables with the customer and monitor customer credit management.
To manage financial bookkeeping and set financial reporting, customer credit management and create financial statements for annual reports.
To coordinate financial planning, rolling forecasts and further develop the organizations financial strategy.
To provide leadership and guidance as well as training and development for your dedicated accounting team in Navi Mumbai.
To promote and demand active communication (discussion and feedback culture, problem solving, reaching decisions, presentation, moderation and,...).
To conduct at least annual consultations on objectives (target talks) with the employees which are based on own targets and demand that these targets to be achieved.
To cooperate with the EAP Regional Head of Finance & Controlling for monthly, quarterly and annual reports and you are proactively ascertaining deviations to the forecast and suggest counter measures.
To liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax authority and banks to ensure that policies, procedures, standards of performance and compliance are adhered.
To act as Country Compliance Ambassador.
