Job Description

Head of Finance – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Role & Responsibilities:


Fully accountable for all topics related to Finance/Controlling, HR, Administration and IT;
Organise the set up and growth of the Department including all Administrative processes and support functions including HR, Administration and IT;
Reporting directly to the Managing Director;
Lead, manage and develop the support team and ensure a high level of cooperation and cross-functional support to all other Departments;
Play an active role in the Country Management team;
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition and Collection;
Execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes;
Coordinate the preparation of all regulatory reporting and compliance with local government requirements and tax filings;
Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts;
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
Ensure all processes within the organization are set-up and maintained with sound internal controls and in line with relevant Company standards;
Liaise with local and governmental offices, organisations and authorities to ensure compliance with the local rules and regulations.

Requirements:

Degree level Education in Finance / Controlling / Business Management is essential;
5 years Finance Management experience in the Construction industry
Experience in the Middle East is essential;
Knowledge and experience of the KSA market is highly desirable;
SAP experience and knowledge of in-house programs as well as KSA tax rules and regulations, is preferred;
Arabic language skills (including reading and writing) would be a distinct benefit;
Proven leadership and management experience with tangible results;
Proactive individual with strong organisational skills;
Inspiring leader who shows a mature and proactive approach and acts as a role model;
Ability to prioritise, work unsupervised and make decisions.
