Job Description


  • Support the design and development of safe and efficient system formwork solutions for all types of forming projects.

  • Conduct end-to-end project planning and client support agreement with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Build a relationship with the countries and ensure that client requirements are delivered on each project in a timely manner.

  • Produce and review AutoCAD drawings to support countries during the proposal stage and finalize working drawings for Doka forming systems.

  • Produce and / or approve material lists, offer drawings and shop drawings.

  • Provide guidance to customers regarding forming solutions, service job sites and respond to questions concerning equipment usage, etc. 

  • Visits job sites in Western Europe countries as required to control the proper use of Doka equipment.

  • Develop standards for the technical department in discussions with peers and direct manager.

  • Lead by example to foster motivation and inspire and develop a team spirit to create a positive and high performance attitude and working environment for the team,

  • Build a culture of openness and transparency within the team and help hire and integrate new team members,



  • Technical education (Professional school, technical college, beneficially with focus on civil engineering or mechanical engineering).

  • Previous experience in Formwork Technologies is a must.

  • Extensive experience in concrete forming,

  • Ability to deliver under pressure and to be able to set and adapt priorities to meet business needs.

  • Proven record of managing projects in previous roles. 

  • Experienced in AutoCAD 2D/3D and other related/required software. Knowledge of other cad systems e.g. Revit and Tekla will be an added advantage.

  • Extensive practical knowledge of MS Office tools.

  • Knowledge of BIM and interest in developing BIM as a formwork design tool.

  • At least 1 - 2 years of previous leadership experience.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new products, concepts and techniques.

  • Knowledge of English and German (speaking, reading, writing). Knowledge of French will be an added advantage.

  • Flexibility to travel on the job as required.


Additional Information

The Engineering Group Leader is accountable for technical planning, forming projects, managing multiple projects and maybe as a project coordinator.  The person in this position will need to provide strong leadership and ensure that team members are developed and trained in Doka systems and technologies. The Group Leader will also be responsible for ensuring regular performance discussions, performance evaluations and feedback on progress with their team.

The person will provide technical assistance to the sales department from the project design stage to project inception and completion. This position will be a part of the Regional Team of Western Europe and will report directly to the Head of Engineering of the Region.

The minimum gross salary for the role is EUR 38.200.-- and shall be evaluated further based upon education and experience.
