Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Formwork & Scaffolding Sales Manager will report solid line to the Company’s General Manager based in Italy and will interact with all functions across the Group. He/she will:

 

  • Establish trust with key stakeholders, and take the leadership of Sales activities within the Qatari & Kuwaiti markets, promoting the goals intrinsic to the role;
  • Guarantee the drafting, implementation and development of the Company Sales plan, in order to reach the commercial goals, balancing markets’ diversity and priorities;
  • Work closely with the Head office in Italy and the Branch Office in Dubai.

     

    Major Areas of Responsibility:

     

  • Establish and keep relationships across markets with dealers, through periodic point of contacts;
  • Influence the commercial activities while ensuring the implementation of sales plans, to achieve commercial goals for the Company;
  • Manage the sales force with efficient actions, on both existing and new products, and guarantee a close liaise between Corporate and dealers through visits to key clients, etc;
  • Promote analytical methods and market models to assess customer needs and satisfaction, as well as the account base segmentation and performance, through creation of specific KPIs, defining operational metrics to measure sales segments’ success;
  • Conduct and update market analysis with the goal to have 1) updated view on competitors, 2) assessed view on customer satisfaction and needs;
  • Regularly monitor the results achieved by the commercial workforce with respect to the Sales Programs and define possible corrective actions.

     

     

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

     

    Mandatory:

  • 5+ years sales experience in the Formwork and Scaffolding industry in the Qatari Market

    (ONLY CANDIDATURES WITH THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE WILL BE TAKEN IN CONSIDERATION)

    Additional:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers;
  • Track-record in developing sales plans and analysis, understanding and reflecting clients’ expectations;
  • Ability to lead and influence, within a matrix organisation, as well as to develop and maintain senior relationships;
  • A result-oriented problem solver;
  • Ability to relate with resilience, diplomacy and assertiveness at all levels;
  • People management experience;
  • Languages: Full proficiency in spoken and written English is compulsory. Italian language is an asset. Additional languages are a plus.
