Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Technical understanding of where the products are used and why they are used and the ability to link sell the full formwork & falsework product range
To service existing business and develop new business opportunities within the North East Region to achieve budget
Create a sales strategy to grow the business and profit margins
Maintain and furnish with quick efficient responses all queries and pricing
Be able to work and create a yearly budget giving reasons and rationale
Working toward achieving predetermined product sale targets for the given territory
Maintaining profit levels and management of sales and forecasting
Representing the Company in a professional and ethical manner
Represent and carry-out exhibition attendance, seminars and workshops
Engage with other departments bringing on board a cross sell function
Manage project pipeline of current projects
Grow the pipeline of projects with a diverse and a manageable client database
Creating quotations, specifications and managing client expectations
Follow up of technical applications associated with quotes
Attend site meetings, project meetings and consultant office meetings relating to projects
Ability to deliver strategic plans in line with growth strategy
Develop and maintain clear strategic working relationships and understanding of contractors, consultants and clients (needs)
Need to develop customer awareness of products/solutions to both internal and external customers. Promoting the value of the product
Understanding / development of Project Management and identifying key decision makers in the process
Create and deliver a business plan to grow the business in the territory
To service existing business and develop new business within a given territory 
To work toward achieving pre-determined product hire and sale targets for a given territory 
To produce accurate and thorough monthly sales reports 
To become involved in, when required, business forecasting by both customer and by product line.


Must have worked in the building and/or civil engineering industry preferably in a Formwork related role. Must be adverse and experienced in business development and creating new opportunities/clients
Must have a proven industry background and a successful record of selling to builders and formwork contractors
Must be able to communicate solutions through different disciplines within construction
Technical consulting and commercial understanding of technical drawings, design submissions and can interpret technical CAD drawings to design partners for an application suggestion
Creative thinker able to bring new ideas both technically and for marketing purposes and for the company to deliver and maintain market share
Be able to communicate and negotiate and all levels
Able to promote the Company through personal experience and knowledge of the brand and solutions
Have the confidence and ability to deliver technical presentations to a wide range of clients.
To promote and have product knowledge, application knowledge and skill to deliver 
Must be able to create new business development opportunities with major project teams 
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Good report writing skills and the ability to self-check and to produce high quality and accurate work
