Formwork Sales Engineer - Qatar

Role & Responsibilities:


Responsible to grow and sustain a profitable Hire and Sales business within the Qatar market;
Study, forecast & submit the technical and commercial requirements to the clients on time;
Coordinating with the client in support of the design submissions to achieve shop drawing approval status;
Basic understanding the formwork/scaffolding/falsework load assessments and calculations, technical analysis, to cover the full scope of temporary works requirements for large scale projects;
Coordinate with Operations & Logistics departments from start of mobilization through to demobilization;
Submit the design calculation for third party and consultant approval;
Coordinating Formwork/Scaffolding works, giving clear instructions to subordinates and sub-contractors, to ensure quality control and compliance of materials and workmanship;
Ensure the technical feasibility according to the site layouts with co-ordination of Site management;
Ensures that works are executed to meet all the clients required safety standards;
Prepare cost comparisons of different systems to establish best suited application for the project;
Monitor QA/QC to maximize efficiency and ensure the integrity of the product supplied are of the best quality;
Prepare management information & sales reports, including accurate revenue forecasting, on a weekly basis;
Work with the management to achieve business goals and effective cash collection.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold an Engineering Degree - Civil / Mechanical;
Minimum 4 years of Sales experience within the Formwork / Scaffolding Industry;
Extensive knowledge of different types of formwork systems;
Experience working within the Middle East Region is essential;
Candidates with Arabic language skills will be given priority;
Experience of bid preparation with clear understanding of Industry-specific documentation;
Ability to work on own initiative with the ability to deliver against targets;
Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office.
