Formwork Business Development Manager

Job Description



Several years of Sales, Business Development and/or Engineering background and
Excellent project and sales management skills.
Strong business acumen as well as organizational and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of Formwork; having worked for a leading Formwork manufacturer advantageous.   
Knowledge of Indonesian construction market, regulations, and work ethic
Very good English skills (both verbally and written); Indonesian language skills are
a plus.
Confident and assertive with a self-motivated approach and flexible attitude.
Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently
using own initiative.
Entrepreneurial, stress-resistant, and hands-on mentality.

Role & Responsibilities

Joint development of the strategic sales direction of the Company’s formwork & scaffolding solutions.
Identification and targeting of new projects / customers and development of a robust pipeline for project opportunities.
Early identification of target projects to develop potential solutions in advance of project being awarded.
Presentation of key project bids and lead of contract negotiations.
Negotiation of price and discount levels for new customers, whilst operating within the company’s financial guidelines.
Development of market awareness and providing of product presentations to customers, potential clients and other relevant parties (owners, developers, main contractors etc.).
Active contribution to secure project wins.
Forecast of turnover and management of budgets.
Monitoring the long-term project outlook to signal upturn or downturns in opportunities as early as possible.
Analysis of market trends within the construction industry.
