Job Description

Doka is currently looking for a Procurement Process Specialist MEAAP who will be responsible for the cross-country implementation of effective operative procurement processes in the Support Unit MEAAP.

In this role, you will support the MEAAP area to digitize and automate the purchase to pay process as well as the incoming invoice process, with the help of tools and in collaboration with Category/ Area Managers and the other countries.
This position requires an enthusiastic individual who understands procurement processes and digitization and who is able to manage compliance regulations.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Procurement MEAAP. This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

 

Job Description

  • Improve and develop procurement processes including the purchase to pay process to fully align supply and demand by supporting all stakeholders and internal customers to guarantee a smooth and productive sourcing operation
  • Ensure compliance of the purchase to pay process according to Global PCM guidelines by giving feedback to supported areas on compliance implications and deviations to the process, changes in policies and related forms as well as running internal control systems
  • Identify and create potential catalog opportunities as well as implement and maintain e-catalogues for internal customers
  • Create and maintain relevant master data for suppliers and materials and ensure the necessary data integrity within the systems
  • Support the setup of procurement relevant processes in preparation for SAP implementation
  • Support all levels of testing as required (SAP, ARIBA etc.) as well as drive the relevant data analysis
  • Solve fist level requests for internal costumers to ensure targets and metrics are achieved
Qualifications

  • Technical, commercial or purchasing degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in operational procurement and Master Data Management
  • Experience in extracting data and developing reports in an ERP environment
  • Experience in customer service / procurement skills, with the ability to resolve complex situations and order fulfillment issues
  • Sound understanding of the purchase to pay process
  • Proficient in SAP and SAP/R3-Ariba system
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications
  • Analytical individual with a positive attitude and high energy
  • Strong understanding of how data is used for transactional activities
  • Solid communication skills in English
  • Proactive team player who is flexible and capable of working both independently and in a team
  • Proven ability to build relationships and networks across multiple functions
