Reporting to Sales Director, the Sales Engineer is responsible for sales and marketing activities that form full account management and implementation of business development plans to grow the market share of Singapore. This includes prospecting, lead generation and qualification, presentation development and follow-up service. Additionally, the position coordinates the engineering and design offerings as well as communicating on site services from the customer to the support teams.

Responsibilities: 

To be fully conversant with regards to Product lines and applications.
Manage personal KPI’s to meet financial and personal annual targets.
Maintain and report on time the weekly/monthly sales management system to line manager. 
Manage and maintain a strict registering protocol of documentation via sales administration system.
Conducts research and gathering of data containing relevant information as needed to develop successful business opportunities.
Analyze financial data and extract and define relevant information for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project financial probability of business opportunities.
Analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential business opportunities
Interprets data, formulate reports, and make recommendations based upon research findings. 
Develops financial and written business plans for key accounts under his management.
Updates new sales literature.
Ensure direct marketing merchandise to prospective and existing business ensuring constant market awareness.
Manages/develops an electronic presentation tool to support sales pitches.
Introduce or visit key account personal for existing or proposed clients on a regular basis with line manager.  
Develops and maintains an active prospect list via PHACT & Sales Force forecasting/CPQ. 
Manages and records regular contact with companies on the prospect list.
Builds relationships with key account decision makers for prospective and existing clients.
Creates opportunities to pitch new accounts.
Understands the business and marketing challenges of key prospects.
Develops sales strategies for key prospects.
Coordinate’s presentation/pitch approaches.
Develops responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
Researches all prospects and opportunities generated from in house and external marketing sources.
Organizes, directs, and makes physical arrangements for presentations.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree, preferable in Civil Engineering or Sales & Marketing.
Experience in formwork Hire and Sales industry highly desirable.
