The Doka division Digital Services, has a mission to improve quality, safety and productivity in concrete construction by means of digital tools, the combination of knowledge of the building process and digitisation.

Concremote is a real-time cost-saving information system and decision-making tool for the construction site and in the (precast) concrete plant. The system measures the maturity of the concrete and the environmental conditions via digital sensors and calculates the real-time strength development.

Concremote was developed, and is still globally supported, by Concrefy in the Netherlands. Via a portal myConcrefy, (live) data can be viewed, forecasts can be made, or different scenarios can be simulated. The DST "Decision Support Tool" gives users control over the process and enables to save time and costs. Concremote promotes safety and quality, and offers a digital dossier

Concremote can control production equipment, open casings mechanically, steer climate controls / climate control rooms and operate cooling and heating containers on location. Concremote also communicates with BIM, existing ERP systems or control modules.

Job Description

The Concremote Sales Support is responsible for supporting the Concremote Business Developer in his business development task and for providing expert guidance to Concremote users in North and Latin America. The Concremote Sales Support provides explanation, training and coaching about the use of Concremote products and services to users, Key-users and Business Developers.

The Concremote Sales Support is the contact person for Concremote users, Key-users, Business Developers, laboratories and concrete suppliers. The Concremote Sales Support supports the users, customers and colleagues in the worldwide construction projects through web portal, email and telephone. He/she also participates in meetings on site or online. The Concremote Sales Support is through his/her many contacts with Key-users a sparring partner for product development regarding extensions and improvements and the testing thereof.

You will be engaged in the following activities on a daily basis:

  • Serve as the contact person for problems of technical nature (e.g., when using the web portal or devices) towards customers, employees, or other users. Analysing and resolving the problem and informing on solution and progress in a complete and timely manner;
  • Ensuring that Concremote projects run smoothly in consultation with Business Development and Concremote Support colleagues;
  • Preparation and supervision of concrete calibrations. You are in contact with laboratories and users all over NAM/LAM;
  • Instruct, train and coach Concremote portal users. (e.g., Key-users and customers);
  • Visiting customers to make adjustments or improvements on site;
  • Proactively contributing to the improvement and optimization of (the application of) the Concremote system by recording the gained knowledge and experience and to share it with Concremote Support, Key-users and Business Developers;
  • Develop and test (new) features and releases.
  • Provide internal trainings on Concremote (features, benefits and advantages)
  • Presenting Concremote (and other digital services) externally (trade shows, conferences, customer presentations, etc.).
  • Preparation of case studies and other supporting marketing material
  • Support the senior Business Development Manager Concremote and Digital Services of Doka NAM/LAM in:
    • developing and (operationally) implementing strategies (key user, responsibilities, trainings, processes, key customers, pricing, preparation of price lists etc.).
    • preparation of commercial offers
    • developing a holistic sales strategy for Concremote (and other digital services) with market and competitor surveys
    • service delivery process (setup, onsite training  and launch of Concremote) and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • a technical qualification on a high level
  • a pragmatic, hands-on work and thinking approach;
  • knowledge of ICT and technology;
  • a good command of the English language, verbally and in writing. Command of Spanish is a benefit;
  • knowledge of concrete technology;
  • (some) years of work experience in construction, preferably technical (commercial), and a familiarity with construction processes and construction methods
  • You are willing to work on-call shifts in the evenings and weekends (in alternation with colleagues);
  • ·You feel comfortable going on business trips every now and again;
  • You can handle stress and adapt easily, you are flexible, customer-oriented and always open to learn and collaborate;
  • You are characterized as efficient, solution-oriented, open-minded and self-motivated

For this position the salary is highly dependent on the location and actual experience.
