Job Description

In order to strengthen our market position in Bridge projects, Doka is expanding the current team and is looking for a Business Development Manager for Bridge projects.

In this role you will be responsible for acquiring and managing bridge projects. The person in this role will need to interface with global construction companies as well as with the local Doka organizations.

  • You map out business opportunities and acquire bridge projects with particular focus on profitability, long term market penetration and overall coverage together with the area team
  • You identify market drivers & strategies for the bridge sector
  • You coordinate and communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders within the organization e.g. country sales and engineering
  • You are proactively involved and accountable in the project acquisition and entire project handling
  • You develop business through face-to-face contacts and regular job site visits with customers
Qualifications

  • You have experience in construction of brigdes (ideally acquired in an international construction company) as field, construction or formwork engineer 
  • You have international job site experience in that sector and you have excellent project and contract management skills
  • You are a forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Personally you are characterized by a great cultural and international understanding and you are able to build up relationships with stakeholders, network/contacts to consultant within the industry
  • You have a strong sales affinity and excellent communication skills as well as good persuasiveness
  • High willingness for international travelling 
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, further languages are welcomed


Additional Information

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 42.558,88 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry) - use group as of IV.
